Pirelli European Drift Championship

drift.jpgThe Pirelli European Drift Championship heads to Anglesey for round six of the 2011 season.

The 2011 Pirelli European Drift Championship will continue its revised system of competition, scoring, format and judging. The new format is based around an eight team invitation-only championship. Teams were selected on their professional ability, approach, team capability and desire to represent the pinnacle of drifting as a professional motorsport, whilst still meeting the requirements of the championship.

EDCWith a successful 2010 behind them, Pirelli now returns as the title sponsor for the 2011 European Drift Championship. All the competing cars in this year’s championship will be using road legal Pirelli high performance road tyres, tried and tested in the 2010 season. Pirelli will not only be providing tyres for the championship as in 2010, they will also be on hand with expert technical advice over the seven rounds this season.
